THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – (Thursday, May 2nd, 2013) Renewed growth and financial vitality in and around The Woodlands is prompting local entrepreneurs and business owners to take a hard look at how they can capitalize on the current economic boom.
Republic Payment Systems, a resource providing a wide range of business and commercial assistance, has announced the addition of a commercial real estate division to assist current and prospective business owners.
“Our experience and knowledge of the area represents a significant benefit to business owners interested in entering the market or expanding their current operation,” said Terry McBurney, founder of Republic Payment Systems. “We have the expertise and resources to help business owners achieve their desired goals with leasing or development projects.”
Republic Payment Systems offers specialized programs for independent restaurants and retail oriented businesses. These include Merchant Services (Credit Card Processing), Business Financing and Consulting. The addition of Commercial Real Estate Services was a logical choice.
Having gained an extensive real estate background through much of the 90’s in Houston and internationally in Moscow, Russia; McBurney established Republic Payment Systems in The Woodlands nearly 10 years ago. He is active in area civic organizations, chambers of commerce and is the President Elect of the Montgomery County Restaurant Association. “From the conceptual stage to site selection to operations, Republic has the knowledge and resources to assist any business venture with their real estate needs.” said McBurney.
Chief among his assets, McBurney said is his relationship with a wide range of business professionals in the community. His longstanding relationship with Sysco Foods, the global leader in foodservice distribution, enables Republic to provide independent as well as multi-unit operator’s access to a variety of support services – offering value and helping to reduce costs. “Through the years, I have had the good fortune of working with many fantastic individuals across multiple arenas,” said McBurney. “It makes good business sense to share these resources and their knowledge with others.”
These contacts also help McBurney learn of commercial sale and leasing opportunities – often before they come on the market. “The restaurant and retail sectors are our strong suit,” said McBurney. “We know the areas that are doing well and more often than not, potential opportunities before they are announced in the market.” With an increasing number of clients interested in real estate opportunities, McBurney said it made sense for the company to expand its roster of business capabilities to better service its clientele.
